better to say it late than never.

but school starts tomorrow, which is a bunch of poop. however, NO MORE ECO FTW! I'm looking forward to that part.
and I just realized that Area is this Saturday. CRAP

Chelsea's birthday is exactly one week from today, so Happy Week Early Birthday Chelsea :) I love you

I haven't updated in a while....

-12/9- Region Band auditions! so I go into phase 1 and there was absolutely no competition in the room. Seriously,  I had to put my head down to keep myself from audible laughter at some people. I know it's rude, but if you were there, you'd understand :P. I ended up getting 3rd chair in phase 1, which puts me in the Region bands and qualifies me for phase 2! so at phase 2, something miraculous occured. I placed 6th, putting me in first chair Symphonic, and I ended up taking the 4th 5A Area slot, so I made the Area cut! hoooooray! kinda nervous though...I hope the competition isn't TOO tough..XD. our school ended up having 61 people make Region and 27 Area qualifiers. That's right, we pwnd everyone by a long shot. Bow down and respect us now.

-Right now, it's finals week. but I'm exempting....
1. AP Eco (1st)
2. AP English (5th)
3. AP Calc AB (6th)

which is pretty much all my hard classes so I'm pretty relaxed right now XD

and my college letters better come in soon! I'm getting very impatient ><

anyhow, Christmas Break is soooooon! just have to get through this boring week. Good luck!

RECAP:
-Marching season, despite its extreme disappointmets this year, ended with a bang. I had the show of my life on the night of 11/4/06. Thank you underclassmen.
-I had an awesome time teaching/DI-ing this year. I can already pick out some prospects that are going to be section leaders, DIs, and Drum Majors from the trombone section already.
-This year has been by far the most fun I had marching on a field. No, we didn't go to State, and we did get beat by a band like Taylor, but I swear, this band is going to win State Championships several times in the future. Long live CRHS Marching Band! Watch your backs.
-I just can't describe what this year's marching season was like to me. It was simply fantastic.

::Now onto Concert Season!
-"Brass players, for those of you that can't, I suggest you start learning how to double tongue." -Mr. Ouellette
-Needless to say, I am extremely excited about concert season. It's going to rock pants.

And Region Band is coming up in about a month. Cinco will pwn the auditions  like we did with Region Orchestra.

Region Jazz Band concert is not this Saturday, but the next one at Katy High School. Come watch!

::In other news, my sissy Sarah's B-day is on the 20th. Get her something, or I'll kill you.
